Peter A. Romero
Peter A. Romero has practiced exclusively in the area of employment law for more than twelve years. Mr. Romero regularly represents both employers and employees in workplace litigation, including trial and appellate practice, administrative proceedings before the Department of Labor, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and New York State Division of Human Rights. He is highly experienced in complex litigation, including collective and class action lawsuits.
Mr. Romero is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law.
He is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit; United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit; United States District Court, Southern District of New York; and United States District Court, Eastern District of New York.
Mr. Romero is a Member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, New York Chapter; The Federal Bar Association; the Nassau County Bar Association; and the Suffolk County Bar Association.
Mr. Romero has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America® five consecutive years.
Mrs. Tarazi is a consulting attorney and provides support and assistance in connection with a wide variety of employment matters. Prior to joining the practice, Mrs. Tarazi worked as a labor and employment associate at Farrell Fritz and was an associate general counsel at SEIU 32BJ. Her experience in labor and employment matters has been enhanced by internships with the United States Postal Service and the NYS Attorney General's Office. In addition, Mrs. Tarazi has worked as a consultant for the NYC DOE managing the citywide moot court and mock trial programs.
